Privacy policy
This page describes what personal data huurvskoop collects, how cookies are used, and how you can control your advertising consent preferences at any time.
Consent Management Platform
The site uses Google Funding Choices, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), to collect and honour user choices in compliance with the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2. The CMP issues a consent string and passes it to Google services through Consent Mode v2 before any advertising tags load.
You can review or update your decision by selecting “Manage privacy preferences” in the site footer. This re-opens the CMP interface without needing to clear cookies.
Cookies and tracking
Before consent is provided, Consent Mode sets all Google storage types (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) to denied. Once you grant consent, Google AdSense and other tags may set cookies to personalise or measure ads. If you decline, only strictly necessary cookies are stored.
Data collection
Apart from optional ad personalisation handled by Google, the calculator runs entirely in your browser. Input values are embedded in the URL solely so you can share a specific scenario; no central database stores your entries.
